End-Times Awareness #
The Bible warns that the entire world will experience a period of acute distress, unlike any other time in history. Is that time approaching? There are reasons to believe it is. Fortunately, followers of Jesus have hope even as end times approach. There’s no need to feel overwhelmed by external threats, because God has control of history. Did not Jesus say:
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.” (Matthew 24:6)
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
